Football association of Maldives has decided to sack their head coach Peter Segrt after the 2-1 loss with Host Nepal and humiliating loss against the weaker side Bhutan. Maldives had a winless journey in 13th SAG 2019. Maldives used to be a promising side in football but this time their performance was worst.
FA of Maldives has tweeted that
"Upon discussion with the Head Coach, we have come to an amicable agreement to end the contract between him and effective immediate.
Thanking him on behalf of the football family for the success & the development. " Maldives also haven't won any gold medal in any edition of SAG games.
